The client's brief for the facade design was simple to make it a talk of the town, and we fulfilled this by incorporating a highly scientific process.

The vertical lines on the facade were not only intended for modernist aesthetics, but also to reduce solar heat gain in an elegant manner, while still allowing natural light to filter through. As a result, the fins assisted in reducing the amount of solar radiation that enters the building, leading to a 20-22% increase in energy efficiency and a decrease in cooling load.

To achieve this, we examined the building's orientation and the sun's path throughout the day, and used specialized tools to run energy simulations, determining the optimal design, placement, and size of the fins to achieve the desired shading and energy efficiency.
