55,000 SQFT

Situated in the Selaqui area of Dehradun, the Pharmaceutical Factory covers an impressive area of 60,000 square feet. One of its notable features is the implementation of a Double Skin Facade, which serves as a protective barrier against the corrosive impact of chemical waste in the surrounding SEZ (Special Economic Zone) zone.

The design of the facade incorporates endless loops, with the fenestration creating an infinite pattern that plays on the interplay between solid and empty spaces. The loops in the facade design create a sense of movement and dynamism, drawing the viewer’s eye across the surface of the building. Additionally, the repetition of the pattern creates a feeling of continuity and unity, tying the different parts of the building together into a cohesive whole.By carefully balancing these two elements, we have created a sense of depth and texture in the facade, as well as controlling the amount of natural light that enters the building.

To ensure efficient functionality, the factory premises are thoughtfully divided into distinct sections, including Administration, labs, workstations, and recreational areas, each serving a specific purpose. The design of each floor is carefully curated to create a distinct atmosphere and ambiance that aligns with its intended use. This deliberate differentiation is further emphasized by the use of diverse color palettes, visually demarcating the various areas and infusing them with their own unique energy and character.
